Hi Phia, we'll you sent me on a Radiohead listening journey after reading this - The Eraser, some select YouTube cuts and In Rainbows which is my favourite album of theirs. Where they showed some warmth as a bunch of English men! Not a bad way to spend a Saturday morning.
I did laugh when you described them as 'male' 🤣. I've never really thought of them as like that but think I see your point. I definitely hear their influence in some of your music. Like in a stripped back way in your song Someone out there, when a lot of the instruments kick in, the strings and that awesome ascending bass line. Love that song ♥️
Yes, definitely a band where each member - from Phil Selway's very distinctive drumming, Ed Greenwood's dubby brilliant bass to Ed O'Brien tasteful contribution as guitarist. It all adds up to a fantastic whole 👨🏻🚀✌️
What a lovely Saturday morning! I think describing them as "male" probably says more about me back then, than it does about Radiohead! I love your comparison with Someone Out There, I haven't thought that. Thanks so much for reading, I really enjoy your responses x
What an incredible performance by the choir — bravo. I love having multiple versions of a song to expand my mind's projection when I listen. I expect to feel your choir in the autoharp chords leading into the song's climax now. There is so much potential energy in that moment - I love what you did with it 🙏
